OIL TESTING
We can test fuel oils, as well as analyse waste oils to assess their suitability for reprocessing and reuse.
We provide full spec oil testing, including:
- Routine determination of D1160 distillation — either as a stand-alone test or to assess straight-run characteristics, asphaltenes, bromine number, flocculation, and so on.
- Determining sulphur content
- Analysing oils for trace metals like sodium, vanadium, and aluminum.
- Viscosity testing
- Pour point determination and density
Diesel Testing
Our team can carry out quality assurance testing for diesel, ensuring that it meets Australian standards. We can also carry out diesel fuel testing to determine its suitability for storage or cold weather usage, identify any contaminants, and provide information about its properties, such as:
- Ash content
- Carbon residue
- Cloud point
- Flash point
- Sulfur Content
